会议简介:
第六届机器学习、模式识别与智能系统国际会议 (MLPRIS 2024) 将于2024年7月19-21日在中国西安举行。MLPRIS 2024议题涵盖先进的控制和检测技术,人工神经网络,音频/语音识别、音乐分析、多媒体系统,生物特征学、生物医学模式分析和信息系统,数据/Web挖掘和知识发现,人机交互等。本届大会将继续遵循学术性、国际性的原则,特邀国内外化学相关领域内的学者专家前来参会,并做出精彩的报告。本次会议秉持学术性和国际性原则,旨在邀请国内外化学领域的学者和专家参与研讨,并进行精彩的报告。我们将为与会者提供一个互动的平台,促进最新研究成果的交流,并分享相关领域中的先进研究方法。
 
 
会议论文发表

 录用的论文将发表在国际英文开源期刊Journal of Computer and Communications (ISSN Print: 2327-5219/ISSN Online: 2327-5227)上。

Dr. Pingjing Lu
National University of Defense Technology, China
Biography:
Lu Pingping, an associate researcher at the School of Computer Science at the University of National Defense Technology, has been engaged in the development of high-performance computer systems for over ten years. As a key member, she has participated in the development of multiple generations of Galaxy/Tianhe high-performance computer systems, mainly focusing on computer system architecture and high-performance interconnection networks. She has received two first prizes military progress prize in science and technology, published over 40 academic papers, more than 30 invention patents, including 3 American patents, 6 computer software copyrights and 1 integrated circuit layout design.

Dr. Zhi Liu
Central China Normal University, China
Biography:
Zhi Liu is the PI of affective computing research group, associate researcher and doctoral supervisor at the National Engineering Research Center of Educational Big Data, Central China Normal University. His focuses include learning analytics and educational data mining. He was a guest researcher at the Institute of Computer Science of Humboldt University of Berlin from 2017 to 2018. He is an expert for National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring, an evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation and an evaluation expert for Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the leader of the National Science and Technology Innovation 2030 Major Project and National Natural Science Foundation.
He is currently the guest associate editor of the international journal “Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence”, the editorial board member of “Frontiers in Psychology”, and the chair of the special Conference on Learning Analytics of the Learning Science Research Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, the organizing committee chair of International Conference of Educational Technology (ICET).

Prof. Yiming Tang
Hefei University of Technology, China
Biography:
Yiming Tang is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor at Hefei University of Technology and also a Visiting Professor at University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. He is a Executive Deputy Director of Department of Intelligent Science and Technology at Hefei University of Technology. He has authored or coauthored more than 90 papers such as IEEE TPAMI, TCYB, TFS and TETCI, including 2 hot papers and 3 highly cited papers of ESI. His research interests include fuzzy reasoning, clustering, machine learning, granular computing, image processing and affective computing. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Information Sciences, the IEEE Access and the Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, an Academic Editor of the PLOS ONE and the Applied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, a Guest Editor of the Computers, Materials & Continua, the Applied Sciences, the Symmetry and the Demonstratio Mathematica, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of China Computer Federation (CCF), and also a Senior Member of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). He is a Deputy Director of Trusted Artificial Intelligence Committee of Anhui Artificial Intelligence Society, a Standing Committee of Artificial Intelligence Logic of CAAI, a Standing Committee of Non-classical Logic and Computing of Chinese Society of Logic, an Executive Committee of Cooperative Computing of CCF, a Professional Committee of Machine Learning of CAAI and a Professional Committee of Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery of CAAI. He is a Publication Chair of the 9th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2023) and the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Logic and Applications (AILA 2023). He is a reviewer of more than 50 journals such as IEEE TPAMI, TFS, TSMC-S and TETCI. He serves as a Program Committee of more than 10 conferences (e.g., AAAI). He was awarded an IEEE Access Outstanding Associate Editor of 2021 and 2022.

Prof. Pascal Lorenz
University of Haute-Alsace, France
Biography:
Pascal Lorenz (lorenz@ieee.org) received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017), Chair of IEEE/ComSoc Satellite and Space Communications Technical (2022-2023), IEEE R8 Finance Committee (2022-2023), IEEE R8 Conference Coordination Committee (2023). He has served as Co-Program Chair of IEEE WCNC'2012 and ICC'2004, Executive Vice-Chair of ICC'2017, TPC Vice Chair of Globecom'2018, Panel sessions co-chair for Globecom'16, tutorial chair of VTC'2013 Spring and WCNC'2010, track chair of PIMRC'2012 and WCNC'2014, symposium Co-Chair at Globecom 2007-2011, Globecom'2019, ICC 2008-2010, ICC'2014 and '2016. He has served as Co-Guest Editor for special issues of IEEE Communications Magazine, Networks Magazine, Wireless Communications Magazine, Telecommunications Systems and LNCS. He is associate Editor for International Journal of Communication Systems (IJCS-Wiley), Journal on Security and Communication Networks (SCN-Wiley) and International Journal of Business Data Communications and Networking, Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA-Elsevier). He is senior member of the IEEE, IARIA fellow and member of many international program committees. He has organized many conferences, chaired several technical sessions and gave tutorials at major international conferences. He was IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer Tour during 2013-2014.

Prof. Simon X. Yang
University of Guelph, Canada
Biography:
Simon X. Yang received the B.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Peking University, Beijing, China, the first of two M.Sc. degrees in Biophysics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, the second M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, Houston, TX, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. Dr. Yang is currently a Professor and the Head of the Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada.
 
Prof. Yang’s research interests include robotics, intelligent systems, control systems, sensors and multi-sensor fusion, wireless sensor networks, bio-inspired intelligence, neural networks, machine learning, fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, intelligent agriculture, intelligent communications, intelligent transportation, and computational neuroscience. Prof. Yang has been very active in professional activities. He has been served as the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor of several international journals, and has involved in the organization of many international conferences. He was on the grant review panel of NSERC, CIHR and several other grant agencies.

Dr. Radu-Casian Mihailescu
Heriot-Watt University, UK
Biography:
Dr. Radu-Casian Mihailescu is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the Faculty Mathematical and Computer Sciences, in Heriot-Watt University (UK). His research focuses primarily on advances in the field of machine learning (ML), with particular emphasis on state-of-the-art deep learning architectures. Key areas of his research include topics such as out-of-distribution generalization, transfer learning, meta-learning, active learning, interactive learning, few-shot learning, domain adaptation, machine understanding, as well as building upon distributed representations learned by deep networks and incorporating reasoning as an integral part of the learning procedure. Moreover, he is also active in numerous applications of ML approaches to various real-world case-studies such as computer vision, natural language processing for fake news detection, activity recognition based on the internet of things infrastructures, context-adaptive surveillance systems or ambulance coordination for acute stroke care. He is also affiliated with the Internet of Things and People Research Center and has previously acted as Program Director for Applied Data Science Master’s Degree at Malmö University in Sweden. He has participated in over 10 national and international European research projects, published over 50 academic papers and has been serving as a program committee member and reviewing in a number of international scientific conferences, journals and workshops.
